Marathon week, last run in 2018, will return (covid permitting) in June 2022

Saturday morning: two starts, 09:00 and 09:30.
Sunday morning: one start at 09:30
Monday evening: two starts, 19:15, 19:45
Tuesday evening: 5 waves, first wave is at 19:00 and last wave at 20:00
Where is it?
Friday Hills 10K – A new route first used in 2018 but this time we will not forget the “pesky add-on” loop at the end. The route starts on Middle Road (near the White Horse), at the top of Middle Path. The route is on Mapometer here and the detailed route description is here this includes links to maps of the route in sections.
Saturday Sand – The route will consist of as many laps of the beach at Ruislip Lido as necessary to make up the distance (approx 4K).
Sunday Woods 10K – This route for the 10k was first used in 2016 on Sunday. We meet on Northwood Recreation Ground – handy for Northwood Hills station. Car parking is available on either Highland Road or Chestnut Avenue. Please familiarise yourself with the route description and map.
Monday Track 5k – This takes place on the tarmac track next to Ruislip Cricket Club in Kings College Road.
Tuesday Road 13k – Please find attached a route description and map. We aim to have marshals out to help at major junctions (particularly the notorious South Harrow junction where people have gone missing in the past) but as it’s a much simpler route than Friday, we expect you to learn this route. The run starts from, and finishes at, Lowlands Road Tennis Club. There are showers and changing rooms at the Tennis Club. The prizegiving takes place after the event at the Tennis Club.
We need two teams of volunteers: Marshals, Recorders. Marshals help on Friday, Sunday and Tuesday. Recorders on Saturday and Monday.
The organisers in 2018 were Irene Paull (Friday, Sunday, Tuesday), Emma Rackham (Saturday, Monday).
