Training

We organise sessions on every day except Sunday.  Exact details of where the sessions are held, who is leading  and any specific arrangements are provided to members via our SPOND app or emails.

Here’s an outline of what we do, approximate venue, and minimum pace

MONDAY

Easy run: 4-5 miles in an hour, 7.15 PM from Headstone Lane   OR

Core Session: Harrow Weald, 7PM, all standards

TUESDAY

Mid week long run from Eastcote: 60-75 mins, group splits into 2/3 depending on pace of those present, 7:30PM   OR

Walk/Run: same venue/time, 5k in 45/50 minutes

Members can choose to stay behind to socialise in the Tennis Club bar after the Tuesday session

WEDNESDAY

Hill training from Harrow on the Hill: Group splits into 2 by pace.  Either an hour long continuous run or hill reps, 7:15PM

THURSDAY

Mixed Run: from Harrow Weald: minimum pace 4 miles in an hour, 7PM  OR

Track: Harrow School: all standards, 6:30PM

FRIDAY

Speed/Strength session: Kings College Track, 7AM, all standards

SATURDAY

Alternative to parkrun, mixed one hour sessions including speed work and coffee/tea afterwards,  Roxbourne Park, 9AM

Also: first Saturday of the month: Distance event.  5k: Feb/May/Aug/Nov; 5miles: Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec; 10K Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct
